This is the Sioux Theatre, on Main Street Eagle Butte SD. The feature on the marquee is the 1976 Bill Cosby comedy, ‘Mother, Jugs & Speed’
Based on the relative age and condition of the building in the picture, it’s a reasonable assumption that it was the orginal Rialto Theatre.
At the time of this photo, it was owned and operated by Ernie Gottschalk, who also operated several other small town western South Dakota theaters.
According to a published reports, the Sioux Theatre was demolished in 1993.
