The Princess became the Playhouse in 1922, the Plaza in 1936, and finally the Haida in 1967. Closed 1992 due to structural issues.

The building dated to 1894, originally it was the Ancient Order of United Workmen Hall before being converted to a live theatre in 1911. In 1923 it was equipped to show moving pictures.
It seems the theatre alternated between Playhouse and Princess a few times before 1936
