Sometimes the easiest way to get the monkey of your back is lock up and bulldoze the building. That’s what happened when likely nobody showed up for “Pal Joey.” The operators then cancelled the showings of “Monkey on My Back” offering the building for sale or lease. It was simply razed likely to get the taxing liability of their backs.
