The Cardinal Drive-In Theatre was located at
802 Old Hartford Road in Owensboro, Kentucky.
According to historical records from Cinema Treasures, the theater sat at the corner of Old Hartford Road and Triplett Street.
It originally opened in May 1953, operated for several decades under Malco Theatres, and closed permanently on October 4, 1981.
The structure has since been demolished, and a strip shopping center now stands along Triplett Street near the original site.
