This newspaper advertisement promoted a special Halloween double-feature screening of William Castle’s supernatural horror classic “13 Ghosts” (filmed in his unique “Illusion-O” ghost-viewer gimmick) alongside the co-feature film The Electronic Monster.
Both films were released in 1960 and paired together as a double-bill market package during that year’s theatrical run.
The screening occurred at the historic Playhouse Theatre,
which was located at Central Avenue and 19th Street
in St. Petersburg, Florida.
