Photograph scan from ‘Standing Room Only’ by James Doherty (Lagan Historical Society/1997). The photograph was taken nine years after the cinema closed - note the façade has been removed. It is said that owner Johnny Donnelly lived in the corner shop, so he could keep an eye on his cinema!
