This drive-in has been closed since the end of the 2014 season.
Cuppies opened on June 29, 1947 with the film “Lover Come Back”. First night as Malden Drive-In was May 26, 1976.
I believe this drive-in is still intact at this point, giving great hope that one day it will be bought and reopened.
The original entrance road has long since disappeared. This makes the original ticket booth that is still standing worthless in its current location. It appeared to still be in use in a 1986 aerial, but was overgrown by 1993.
I wonder why the original entrance road was abandoned?
