The Picture Theatre, Roberts & Goodrich proprietors, was listed at 545 S. Main Street in the 1907 Los Angeles city directory.
On April 17, 1910, the LA Times announced that the Picture Theater, directly across from the Burbank on Main Street, would show, for three days only, the sensational moving picture “Roosevelt in Africa”.
Here is an ad from 1923 that vokoban posted on the Republic theater page. It’s interesting as it neatly lays out the theaters in the downtown area at the time. Kudos to vokoban for this discovery:

The Picture Theatre at this address was still operating in 1923. It is among the Main Street theatres listed in a Paramount ad from September 2nd of that year. The list is posted in a comment by vokoban on the Optic Theatre page.
