google maps literally lists this theatre as permanently closed most likely due to covid shame!

If you were to try to locate the Star via GPS you will end up in a vacant lot. The cinema is literally hidden behind a strip mall with no marquee or signage indicating its presence. It carries some historical significance as being the only single screen Jerry Lewis cinema still in operation.

Function should be: Movies (first-run)

No website, movie listings are on their Facebook page.

Did the theater get converted to video projection yet?

Went there once. Just once a few years ago. Very ratty around the edges. Weird angle of the screen gave me a neckache. Broken seats and the decorative fabric on the sides of the threater was all shredded up at the bottom. Needs a serious update. Go to the Chalet instead.

The theater is hidden in the rear corner of a strip mall. Out-of-towners might have a hard time finding it.

My sister and I attended a movie at Enumclaw Cinema the other day. Yes, the theatre is old and is disrepair, but the price is right, the popcorn smelled good (we didn’t have any as we’d just eaten dinner), and the movie played just fine! The theater is just around the corner from my sister’s apartment, so I think we’ll become regular customers—depending on the movie showing, of course! Next time, we’ll get popcorn! Support this little theatre and fill up one of it’s roughly 180 seats. Enumclaw Cinema is part of the character of this “foothills of the Cascades” town known to some as Enumscratch!

The theater is old and a bit weathered but who cares. I don’t go to a theater to look at the paint or flashing lights, I go to see a movie. This place is cheaper then your average movie house and you can get a big popcorn and pop for less then $5. Its a great place to take a bunch of kids to see a movie w/o emptying out your bank account. Its not much to look at, but I like the place.

This theater is a dump! Weeds growing in the gutters, marquee lights burned out, theater needs pressure washing and a paint job.
