The Liberty Theatre was located on 14th Street between Portland Avenue and 5th Avenue in Chicago Heights. In the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook, it’s listed as open with 300 seats. It was renamed Tropical Theatre in the 1950’s and was closed in 1956. It has since been torn down.
