The Harrisonburg Drive-In opened in 1948. Around 1958 it was acquired by Roth Theatres. Car capacity was 300. The Harrisonburg Drive-In closed in 1986.

The site is now a Pilot Truck Stop. The buildings remained up for so many years.

So badly wanted to see Russ Meyer’s UP! at this drive-in, after seeing the ad in the newspaper. Unfortunately I was 12 years old!
