The Park Theater reopened in February 2016 after a complete overhaul. They have reasonable priced tickets. Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mckenzieparktheatre/
The theater closed in the late 90’s, want to say ‘97 or '98. The guy who ran it moved out of town, and thus it closed. I saw one of the Batman movies there before they shut it down.
President of Rockwood Amusements in 1963 was W.R. Holder. The Park was part of the circuit, as it still was in 1970. Rockwood Amusements was headquartered in Nashville. The circuit operated theaters in Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama.
At the link below is an article from last year about plans to revitalize the Park Theatre, which also includes a photo of the building as it looks now. The new marquee was added in 2001. I believe the pizzeria has opened, but it would really be nice if they are able to begin showing movies again too!

The Park was open into the 80’s. I saw WAR GAMES there in 1983. I’m not sure when it closed.

Here is a photo of the Park taken in March 2007.
The Park Theater is located in a small West Tennessee town that is mainly known for being the home of Bethel College. I was told as recently as Aug. 2006 that there is an attempt being made to reopen the Park Theater as a functional movie theater.
