Years ago I played in a hard rock band, and we played in a place called Gilligans, wow what a great 2 weeks that was. One of my fondest memories. I can remember thinking at the time that this place was once a movie theatre by the way it was set up. Does anyone have any info on this?

This 850 seat theater was originally operated by Joseph Schuchert, along with the nearby
Columbia, and the Linden. In the 1940s and 1950s, it was part of the Gammel group, along
with the Columbia, New Ariel, and Unity theaters.
