The Barracks Theatre opened at the Jefferson Barracks on January 2, 1947 with “Variety Girl” and “West of the Pecos” supported by a cartoon.
Another Theatre to Church conversion.
Status should be closed.
I was told that sale of the building was for $1.00 back in the late 40’s.

There is a photo here. Lemay is perhaps a St. Louis suburb.

From newspaper ads, theatre operated from 1948 to 1950.
The former Barracks theatre of Jefferson Barracks is now St. Bernadette RC Church. The building was bought from the government for $1.00 Inside , the projection booth wall is now opened into the sanctuary and the electronic organ and choir now sit in that area. The address the church uses is 68 Sherman Rd.
