The Walake Drive-In opened in July of 1956. It had a capacity for 1,200 cars. The Walake Drive-In closed on September 1, 1985 with Chevy Chase in “Fletch” & Clu Gulager in “Return of the Living Dead”.
It has been demolished.

The Walake closed for the final time on September 1, 1985 with “Fletch” and “Return Of The Living Dead”.
