The Ewing Theater opened December 25, 1939. In 1943, it was renamed Esquire Theater.

Closed in 1957, it has since been demolished and is now a parking lot.

Full history in below link. Grand opening as the Ewing was 12/25/39. Originally built as a firehouse circa 1890’s.
