Cobian’s Drive-In for many years served as San Juan’s only drive-in. It was located in San Juan’s southern suburb of Monacillos. The drive-in was built on land leased from a small Rio Piedras farm. It was named after Rafael Ramos Cobian who was one of Puerto Rico’s cinema magnates, who owned the cinema chained who built the theater.
Unfortunately, the drive-in shared the same fate as most other drive-in’s in Puerto Rico and was forced to closed down in the early 1970’s.

The husband-wife couple who managed the theater were related to Cobian by marriage, They lived in a house built under the screen.
I’m under the impression that the owners of the International Drive-In in Bayamón also lived on their theater’s premises.
