Bijou Dream Theatre

Opened by Bill Hunt and a partner for $300 on February 28, 1907. This was one of Hunt’s first theatres. He would soon become a very successful theatre owner in Wildwood, NJ. The Bijou Dream Theatre was closed in 1907.

Newspaper ads from 1907-08 give the Bijou Dream’s address as Broadway and Division Street. (Division is now Ramona Gonzalez Street.) Nothing at the intersection today resembles the photo shown above.

The actual opening date is February 28, 1907, and closed the following year.
