Open since at least 1927 when a Robert Morton organ was installed. This theater is still listed as open in the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook.

My Mom says She went here every Saturday in the fourties to see the likes of Hopalong Cassidy. It was always filled with kids.

The Strand Theatre seated 750 people.
