Originally opened as the Kings Inn Theatre, it was remodeled and reopened on October 4, 1929 as the Rialto Theatre. On May 21, 1937 it was remodeled to the plans of architectural firm Spillman & Spillman.

Rialto Theatre was part of Hall Industries. It usually ran 2nd run movies. It closed down in early 60’s and was demolished. Kleberg Bank was built.
Rmoreno – do you have any info. on Kingsville’s three drive-in’s – the Brahma, the King, and the El Rancho?
Also, do you remember what block of East Kleberg the Rialto was located in?
