Higher quality image of the IMAX Screen from H15. In, person, it feels bigger than the XD screen next door, but I haven’t watched a movie in XD for a few months now, so it’s still hard to tell if one is bigger than the other.

May be a little bigger or taller then their XD screen but not a good screen to watch a scope wide movie as Century/Cinemark puts in NO Masking or curtains. You will just see the middle of a big semi square screen lit up like a wide blind with white screen at the top and bottom when they run a wide screen scope film. The only way this new IMAX screen will look semi ok is with a regular flat 1.85 movie and then the whole screen is up and going.Lets hope they run 3D sometimes. They have no neon IMAX signs outside the building and they don’t advertise IMAX so many people have no idea they even put It in! The only reason Century put this IMAX in was to beat out the new REGAL 11 Theatre SF Stonestown nearby as they are do to open in a few months with their own huge curved screen called REGAL RPX. Thanks F4 for the photo.
