The Gem Theatre was once the largest building in Etowah and currently is among the most senior tenants in the county. It opened in 1906 and was renovated in 1926. Photos along with more detailed information can be found at the theatre’s web site.
It underwent further renovation and restoration in 2008.

I recently learned of this theatre from a TN resident and hope to visit it this winter.
