Thanks David for setting record straight.
The Rex Theatre is listed as the Rialto Theatre in “Nearby Theaters” in the right hand column. The address is 31 N. Main Street, the same as the Sherwin-Williams paint store today. It was renamed the Rialto in 1936. You can add your photo to that page/link below.

Across the street was the Rex Theatre at 51 South Main Street which I’ve submitted several times to New Theatres here but have been unable to get it listed. For years it’s been a Sherwin-Williams paint store. I’ll post an original photo once the listing is accepted.

Was lucky enough to watch “Red State” here. A nifty little bar adjoins the lobby.

Riviera Theatre in Three Rivers, Michigan, is still in process of being renovated as of January 2007, with target completion date of sometime mid-late 2007. Questions/comments to , please.
I went to this theatre with my grandmother, after i begged to go see, SUGARLAND EXPRESS, That was the only time I was there, hope to see inside again soon !! and ill have a camera. they still had the wooden seats and wooden floor that creeked.
I would be interested in helping to get it up and running again.
