Does anyone know any more information about the Imperial and other early Anderson theatres? I’m researching Anderson’s early cinema.
There were plans to remodel the Bijou Theatre in 1918, according to this item in the May 4 issue of The Moving Picture World:
Joseph Huntley Casey and Charles William Fant Sr. were Anderson’s leading architects of the period.Streetview is wrong. Needs to move up two blocks and turn the other way. Building must still be there. One of the storefronts south of the Sullivan hardware building.
