The Starlite Drive-In launched July 30, 1953 with Betty Hutton in “Annie Ge Your Gun.”

Per Google, the address for Wendrick’s is 6142 S Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.

The address is 6232 S Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.

The property is now the location of Wendrick’s Truss and there is no trace of the drive-in remaining. https://goo.gl/maps/9YgnL

I used to work here in the 70’s. Screen blew over in a huge windstorm and it was not economical to rebuild, so the place just closed. The map above and street view are totally wrong. Correct location is Mackinac Trail and 6 Mile Rd about six miles south of Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
