This drive-in was opened on May 26, 1949 with Danny Kaye in “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. It had space for 300 cars. It was closed in 1985 and the property was demolished in January 2004.

There are two drive-ins (Marshall and Shadyside) near Albertville, both are on Hwy 205. One is south of town, one is north of town. Which drive-in is the Marshall and which drive-in is the Shadyside?
The picture above is the Shadyside which is still in Albertville to the south of this Drive-in.
The Marshall opened in 1949, closed in 1985 and demolished in 2004. This location is no longer in Albertville.
