- Jan 20, 2010 — Closed Foxmoor 7 becomes Poconos Movieplex
Originally opened in the late-1980’s or early-1990’s. The New Foxmoor 7 Cinema had it’s Grand Re-Opening on Friday May 5th, 2006. It reopened with a Red Carpet Gala and VIP Reception.
The theater’s primary partner is Mr. Norman Adie of Screen Arts Corporation of New York. The theater will be a boutique theater with luxury seating , Dolby sound and a staff specially trained in first rate guest service.
A 2,000 square foot arcade is attached to the cinema. This will be a secured area, making it safe to be a family theater. One of the seven screens will be dedicated to art and independent films as well as a return of classics. The new cinema will provide an anchor to Foxmoor Village, and work to build the Foxmoor Village back to its potential.
In was closed in December 2009, and re-opened January 15, 2010 as the Poconos Movieplex. On July 16, 2017 there was a fire at the cinema and it was closed until further notice.

Now the other 2 nearby theaters, Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center and Cinemark Stroud Mall, will see a Public increase and Will increase their profits by this closing
