The Isis Theatre was opened August 27, 1921. It was renamed New Egypt Theatre in 1950. It was closed in 1953.

Boxoffice for July 11,1953 says that “The New Egypt, New Egypt, has shuttered.” Was it a new name for this theater? I would be surprised if the town had two.
The Isis opened on August 27, 1921. It changed its name to the New Egypt in 1950. After closing the theatre became a furniture store until it burned down.
