Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre was opened by A. G. Doer about 1910 and was located on the south side of W. State Street two buildings east of Division Street. But shortly thereafter, the equipment and establishment were moved to a another building on the north side of E. State Street near Hickory Street. A two manual Link organ was installed in 1926, and the theatre closed in 1929 when the Gail Theatre was built down the street.
