Not able to locate much info on this theatre thus far, except that it closed in early-June, 1926 (per an article in the June 10, 1926 edition of the Mauston Star). The article mentions that the seats were sold to the owner of Mauston’s Majestic Theatre. The Rex Theatre regularly advertised movies in the newspaper prior to its closing.
