This information comes from the Starlight Theatre website. The Starlight Theatre opened in the 1930’s as the Chisos Theater. Movies were shown at the Chisos Theater until it closed in the late 1940’s. In 1991 the building was given a “face lift” and re-opened as the Starlight Theatre Restaurant and Bar.
