Looks very similar to the Tower in Sacramento, also designed by William B David.
Opened On April 25, 1941 With Chester Morris In “Thunder Afloat” And William Boyd In “Border Vigilantes”.

This theater was twinned in the mid 1970’s. It was upgraded with Dolby Stereo sound in time for the release of Jaws. It was built and operated by Redwood Theaters. In 1987 it was closed by Redwood and leased to a discount theater company. It was closed in 1988 and sat empty for several years. A Best Western hotel now occupies this location. The art deco chandeliers, exit signs, and poster cases are now in use in the Varsity Theatre in Ashland, Oregon.
