No one has favorited this theater yet
The Cinema 1 & 2, with its very basic 1970’s design, looks like a latter day Martin Theatre. The cinema was a Carmike holding up until a few years ago when it became an independently owned operation. It had closed by 2016.

YES, this theatre IS still open. No, it is no longer owned by Mike and Shannon Bentley. It shows new releases and the new phone is 423-473-7344(recording) and 423-473-7370(direct).
this theatre is a dump it is so nasty
Do Do on the floor
your shoes come off the floor is so sticky the bathrooms smell like urine. The movie cuts off every second.
Sounds like one of Tennessee’s WORST.
Status should be closed. No showtimes listed anywhere on the web and phone is disconnected. The building is now a Habitat for Humanity thrift store.
The building is still intact, but the theater itself has been gutted and serves as the Habitat For Humanity ReStore.
Owners never put anything into its upkeep…hence, twenty something years of candy and God only knew what else had accumulated on the floors.
This was once a new and great theater. As a kid in the 70s I saw Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back and also The Cat From Outer Space here. More movies in the 80s as a teenager. And many in the 90s with my wife like Forrest Gump in 94 among them. But after it became a discount theater only they never kept it up. It was nice to have a cheap place for movies but it was nasty and we stopped going. I do miss it though and my history with it.
