The Star Cinema is located in the Omonia district of central Athens, close to the National Theatre and Omonia Square.
It opened in 1947 and is a popular, big old two level movie theatre on three floors. In later years it went over to screening adult movies. The main screen played straight Adult movies, while the first floor catered for the transgender clients and the second floor had gay male movies playing in booths. It was closed in 2010.

Star is closed now (since 2010). It started as a very good cinema after the war, it finished badly due to movie theaters crisis and to its district. By the way, the image above is not correct.
