The Park Theater was built in the 1920’s and was located on the park in Painesville. The theater had a balcony and was operated by the same outfit that ran the Lyric in Fairport and bulit the Lake in Painesville. While the much larger Lake ran double feature, the Park was often used for road engagements.

The Park was convered to an office building in the the mid 1950’s and was eventually demolished in the late 1960s during an urban renewal fiasco.

This was part of the Schwartz-Shulman circuit in the early sixties.
