On June 25, 1982, the Palace turned Von Ritz turned Indiana Theatre turns Palace with “Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid” Its final screenings were held on February 7, 1983 with “Grease,” “48 Hours,” and “They Call Me Bruce?” (at right) It was destroyed by fire that destroyed the theater and an adjoining business on Feb. 8th, 1983.
