theatrefan - More correctly, the parcel of land on which the theatre occupies a portion was purchased for 40 million, not just the theatre for 40 million.

Please add the theatre open with 14 screens with entrance from the street and in the rear parking lot. It operated by National Amusements Showcase Cinemas. New seating added in 2019 with reserved seating.

Meredith Rhule, that woman projectionist sounds like the one who worked at Amboys in the late 90s. She fits the description and never wore a bra there either.

In the current issue of Time Out New York Magazine, comedian Gastor Almonte cites the Linden Boulevard as a favorite for a Night at the Cinema: “Whenever you go to the movies, you need to go to the theater most related to that movie’s culture. Whenever a real pro-black movie came out, I always went to Linden. Anytime there’s a movie that you know is going to have any type of say in black culture, watch it at Linden during opening weekend. Seeing ‘Django Unchained’ at that movie theater? Incredible. I cannot fathom anything beating that experience.”

saps, get this. The chief took apart a lens and put it back together with all the elements backwards and a drop of oil on one of the lenses inside. He said something was wrong. I sent it into the manufacturer, and they told me what he did. ummm haaaahehehehe The also have a girl projectionist that looks like a 60 year old Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. She never wears a bra up there but she wears her 1960 hippie hat. ohhh hahahaha

:( sorry

However, they are nice people in that crazy busy place… I miss them actually.

When Variety used to give individual theater grosses, or top grossing sites, (do they still do that?) this was always on the list.

I am forbidden to go to this theater, or to the Sunrise Multiplex, by concerned family memebers.
