Owned by G. Baker, had capacity for 200 cars. Opened in 1980, closed in the 1980s.

I think it was open before 1980. I made the same assumption once from the website you are probably referring to. The newspaper article I read about the theater was from sometime in the 1950s.

Lovett’s Weston Drive-In Theatre… Located 3 miles North of Weston, WV on Rt. 19. Built by Lovett and Company of Clarksburg, WV in 1951. Owner D.E. “Doc.” Lovett along with wife, Bernice, who sold tickets. Concessions were managed by Virginia Howell. Bookings were by Gray Barker. I was the projectionist in 1953 and 1954.The Drive-In was equipped with DeVry Projectors and sound.

Lovett and Company was a sales agency for DeVry equipment thus a number of drive-ins in this area was equipped with DeVry.

Approx. location for this drive-in was N. Main St (Hwy 19). between Harp 906 and Harp 907 across from Forest Lawn Cemetery in Jane Lew.
