The Grand Opera House was opened in 1904. In 1918 the Annex Theater opened on the first floor of the Grand Opera House building. It closed in 1942 and was demolished in September 1960 after one of the building’s walls collapsed on June 14 of the same year.
In 2025 a bar named Aces High operates on the site.
