On the Bowlegs Theatre site the faded photo of the olio curtain shows advertisements for two theaters in Seminole, OK, the State Theatre and Liberty Theatre. The State Theatre was opened on March 7, 1927 with Buster Keaton in “The General”. By 1941 it was operated by the Griffith Amusement Company. The State Theatre was still open in 1957.
