213 is a house next door but it’s obvious the building to the right was once the neighborhood theatre, located in a poorer neighborhood in the Newhallville section of New Haven. What’s left of the theatre is quite small and was probably the lobby. There are houses on either end and what was once the auditorium is a vacant lot.

The remains are quite small, more reminiscent of a mini-retail brick storefront with a sunken entrance. The building is 20 feet wide and 15 feet high and 25 feet long with chipped siding.

I don’t think that the building you describe was the theatre. Records show it was built in 1920 and I believe this theatre operated prior to that. The house at 213 was built in 1995, so I thin kthe theatre probably used to be there and is now demolished.

At any rate, the building described above has now been demolished, so it is gone either way.
