Located at the rear of the first floor of the Centro Altamira office building, Avenida Juan Bosco at 3 Transversal in the up-scale Altamira district, east of central Caracas.
The Cine Obelisco opened in 1980 and closed several years ago in around 2004. I believe it screened art house movies. The cinema has been stripped out and is in use as a recording studio, which was being re-furbished when I visited the site in March 2007.
