Opened on August 13, 1928 with Lon Chaney in “Laugh, Clown, Laugh” along with a Moller Wonder Console organ performance by Earle Tobias.
Lehigh University bought the entire block in the 1970s and tore all of the buildings down, including the theater.
The theatre was torn down. The present building is a replacement.
The Goosey Gander restaurant is at this address currently. Another restaurant called South Side Steel is on the second floor. I don’t know if this building is the former theater or a replacement.
