I lived in WPB for over 30 years and don’t recall this theatre on Rosemary which is where City Place is now. Any photos, anyone?
Still hoping to see some photos this theatre! Thanks.
Still hoping!
And still hoping to see a photo of this theatre that once stood on Rosemary Avenue….home to City Place in WPB now!
Jack Coursey: If you could contact me to discuss this former theatre in West Palm Beach FL, my email is Please title your email…Grand/WPB. Thanks.
Based on small newspaper ads and its separation from other theaters in time clock listings, the Grand was once a segregated cinema.
It was, along with the Dixie. I think they both closed sometime in the sixties or early senenties.
I need a picture of the Grand and the Dixie and the Flamingo to complete my presentation on old theatres in WPB/PB There must be someone out there especially in the Black population of WPB that has a photo? We need your help
