The West End Pointe Theatre is the newest theatre in Yukon. It has all the modern amenities. Opening night was June 22, 2007 and featured 50 cent popcorn and drinks for opening weekend. Taken over by AMC December 16, 2015.

Very nice theater… First of all, They have semi-small screens… Not THAT small but smaller then that of some others. The Seats are VERY comfy and recline back a ways to make you very comfortable. The armrests are a bit small though. Projection is accomplished with an older 35mm projector, which wasn’t that bad but you could tell a few blemishes and the edges of the screen were “faint”. Sound is pretty good, Definately not loud enough, but very clear. The theater is very nice, the bathrooms are clean and smell good.
Ticket prices are $5 in the day and $7 at night (Adult only… For others it is still $5)

The West End Pointe 8 is now listed as a Showplex Cinema Theatre. There has been no information about the transaction on either the Dickinson or Showplex web sites.
