Griffith Amusement Company formed a reputation for having theatres with enticing facades, but humble interiors. Their Kermit Theatre was a perfect example of this type of showmanship. It was opened on March 4, 1938.
Also in Kermit were the Oasis Theatre and Texas Theatre.
