I add a page for the Volunteer Twin Cinema in Union City. Center Point Business Solutions is now at that site.

I watched several movies there. In 1979, Dad took us there to see The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again. In 1983, I watched Superman III there. In 1987, I watched Superman IV and Monster Squad there and in 1997, I watched Batman & Robin there. That was the last time I went there. The Capri Theater began with only 1 theater. They built a second theater, and in 1983, they built an extra 2 theaters which made it have four theaters. Their name was the ‘Capri Twin’ but after the two new theaters were added, they changed their name to ‘Capri Four’.

When I worked there in the early 90s, it was Capri Four (with four screens). At the time, it was a Carmike theater. And years later, it did become Paradigm.

Multiple sources on the Internet say that the Capri Theatre was rebuilt into the Paradigm Cinemas after having been closed for many years.

Do you have a street address for the Capri? The only Martin operation I have been able to locate so far in Hamblen County was the Princess on First Street in Morristown.

The Volunteer Theatre isn’t currently listed on Cinema Tresures. Do you have any information on it?
