Yep. 2018 and 2024 aerial views show the Mayfair building with a wall being built where the entrance was, as well as a “For Sale” sign next to it, meaning that the Mayfield closed around 2013 and remains closed to this day.
It appears it may be closed again.
Reading the local newspaper online for Souix lookout I see the theatre has reopened, Great news for the locals
The Mayfair was built in 1954 and is still owned by the original owners. Mr Boles closed the Mayfair this week due to lack of patronage.
