The Regent Roof Garden offered additional programming from 1923 to 1942 on a 20-year leasing agreement. Butterfield Theaters took out a 10-year leased and placed a 12- then 16-lane bowling alley on the third floor ending the roof garden which remained open until the theater’s closure and demolition. The lanes were salvaged.
