Langdale Theater

The Langdale was designed by architect Kennon Perry and opened on May 6, 1937. Years later the building was taken over by an elementary school and was no longer used as a theater. In 1986, a renovation began, and the theater is now used for concerts and community events.

Interesting fact. In 1980, Langdale and three other textile mill villages, River View, Shawmut and Fairfax, were incorporated into the City of Valley. Theatres in each of these appear on CT under their original community names.
